Nourish Retreat | 1st-7th December 2026 | GRenada
The Invitation
You are invited to our 4th annual Nourish Retreat. This year we will immerse ourselves in the living rhythms that move through our bodies, our days, and our lives. Not the rhythms we think we should have. The ones that are already there, waiting to be heard.
We live in a world that rewards constant doing. We often mistake stillness for stagnation and rest for falling behind. But we are nature. And nature does not apologize for its seasons. It roots, it rises, it rests, it returns. And so do we.
Join me, Malaika Brooks-Smith-Lowe, Professional Yoga Therapist (1000hr), Doula, Artist, and co-founder of Spice Harmony Yoga, from December 1st-7th, 2026 at True Blue Bay Resort in Grenada, my healing island home. Together we will explore practices that support whole-being wellness — vinyasa & therapeutic yoga, the Great Yoga Wall™, meditation, breathwork, yoga nidra, self-massage, therapeutic art, journaling, and connected conversation. All while explore the richness of Grenada’s land, people and culture.
Open to all levels of yoga experience. All bodies are welcome and supported.
This year, Nourish invites you to slow down enough to hear your own pulse. Come attune to the natural rhythms of your body, reconnect with the earth beneath your feet, and remember that living in rhythm with yourself is not a luxury. It is your most fundamental nourishment.
"We are not separate from nature, we are nature. And like all living things, we move in rhythms. This retreat is a space to slow down enough to hear your own."
— MalaikaBSL

Carriacou Side Quest
Since I was a little girl, peaceful getaways to our sister isles of Carriacou & Petite Martinique were a family tradition. And to this day, nothing restores me quite like a little staycation over there. (Plus, I think Carriacou has the best beaches in the country, but don't tell anyone.)
Carriacou was among the hardest hit by Hurricane Beryl in 2024, and as the island continues to rebuild, visiting and spending locally is one of the most meaningful ways we can show up for our community. This side quest is a joy and an act of solidarity.
Together we will fly up on a small plane — your first glimpse of Grenada's extraordinary landscape from the air — then spend the day exploring Carriacou, the Isle of Reefs. We'll take a short driving tour before boarding the Lambie Queen boat for their signature Unspoilt Islands Tour: weaving through stunning little islands and reefs, and snorkeling at Grenada's newest underwater sculpture park just off Carriacou's shores. Then a legendary BBQ and fresh seafood spread on the shores of Anse La Roche. We return home on the Osprey Ferry, catching the sunset as we glide along the entire western coast of Grenada. Unforgettable!
Maximum cost: $414 USD per person — and the more of us who go, the lower the price. Final pricing will be confirmed by October 2026 and invoiced separately at that time.

My experience at the Nourish Retreat was truly transformative…
Surrounded by like-minded individuals, I found myself journaling and creating art in a way that felt incredibly therapeutic. Letting go of control and simply being in the moment allowed me to tap into a sense of flow and inner peace. The retreat left me feeling refreshed, renewed, and equipped to take on the new year. Malaika has really created something special. I highly recommend!

Chrislyn Lashington

Chrislyn is a Grenadian dancer, dance fitness instructor, and founder of Jab in Shape, a dance fitness programme that blends Afro-Caribbean music, movement, and healthy living. With a background in public health and over a decade as a licensed Zumba instructor, she uses dance as a powerful tool to inspire wellbeing and cultural connection.
Deeply passionate about Grenada’s heritage, Chrislyn shares the traditional Bèlè dance, an expressive art form rooted in African and European influences. Through classes, school programmes, and cultural experiences at home and abroad, she works to keep these traditions alive while making them joyful and accessible.

Through her work, she invites people to experience Bèlè not just as a dance, but as a story of rhythm, resilience, and connection.
Stacey Byer
Artist, Illustrator and Writer
Stacey is a Grenadian artist, illustrator, and writer. A main focus of Stacey’s work is the role art can play in community empowerment. Her interests include exploring art’s wider links with art therapy and environment. Stacey and Malaika collaborate often on Creative Healing day retreats. Aaron Sylvester
Founder of Tri-Island Chocolate
Aaron is Grenadian-British entrepreneur driven by a deep-rooted passion for ethical chocolate making and empowering his community. After a fast-paced career as a music executive, representing global artists like Joss Stone, Usher Raymond, U2, and fellow Grenadian Estelle, Aaron felt a powerful pull back to his ancestral home.
His childhood summers spent visiting grandparents, Fitzy and Veronica Sylvester, in Grenada instilled a profound connection to the land. When he and his brother later inherited a small plot filled with cocoa and spice trees, Aaron saw an incredible opportunity. He envisioned combining Grenada’s exquisite fruits and spices with its world-renowned fine-flavored cacao, trailblazing a path in ethical, value-added chocolate, much like the late Mott Green of the Grenada Chocolate Company. His idea was simple yet profound: to reconnect with his heritage and add immense value to Grenadian cocoa, ensuring its true potential was realized right here on the island.
Tricia Simon
Lawyer, Agro-Processor, Tour Operator, Health & Wellness Practitioner
Tricia Simon is a dedicated lawyer in Canada and Grenada whose career is defined by precision, advocacy and resilience. Beyond the courtroom, she embraces a holistic approach to life, finding balance and renewal in the rich natural heritage of Grenada.
At Mt. Parnassus Plantation, she connects with the Isle of Spice’s legacy of Grenada Cocoa and botanicals. Drawing inspiration from Grenada’s lush environment to cultivate health and wellness practices that restore both mind and body with moments of calm and relaxation. These health and wellness rituals are not only a personal sanctuary from the demands of legal practice but also a way to share the benefits of Grenada’s natural bounty with you.
Through Cocoa Pod Botanicals, Tricia champions the healing power of nature - using Grenada Cocoa, Grenada Nutmeg, herbs and traditional remedies to create natural, sustainable skin care products.
Her journey reflects the harmony between professional excellence and personal well-being, a lawyer grounded in discipline, yet deeply attuned to the restorative rhythms of natural Grenada.
Let's retreat together.
Not to escape from life but to drop more fully into its rhythm, its richness, its extraordinary ordinary pulse.
The whole experience was pleasant from soup to nuts…
It was well organized. When the weather didn’t permit for an outdoor experience Malaika was able to improvise or change the location of an event and it still turned out amazing!!! I realize that you have to go in with an open mind and openness to experiencing something new and different in some cases. The energy of the group and the facilitator really guides your experiences. Our group was great and had good energy. I would recommend this to anybody I know because it is a reset button, an eye opening experience, it’s freeing, motivating, good times, a break from the hamster wheel of life and most of all it a stepping stone to the new pathway I will be on after this experience all rolled up into one.
Love it love it love it!!

More Praise for Nourish…
“The retreat helped to me reset and reinforce my goals for the coming year. It was done in a peaceful and gentle manner while allowing us to come to our own conclusions without any pressure or judgement. Malaika is a great facilitator with tremendous talent.”
EDL (2023)
“Nourish was a phenomenal experience to feeding our souls the love and self care it deserves.”
Allison (2025)
“Enrolling in this retreat was the best thing I did for myself all year. I had some reservations going in - would I want to travel alone, a whole week felt long, and of course, there’s a financial cost. Each of these concerns quickly subsided the second I arrived. Malaika is the exact person you’d want to lead this sort of experience... She was welcoming, kind, supportive and intentional. Think of this not as a singular retreat, but a multi-hyphenate of a yoga, meditation, self-discovery, local experience.”
Madeline (2024)
“The Nourish Retreat exceeded all of my expectations and then some. The experience could not have come at a better time in my life. I was burned out and overwhelmed with taking care of others and really needed an opportunity to return to “nourishing” myself. This was a much needed opportunity to reflect on what brings me joy with guidance and connect with likeminded individuals. It was a beautiful experience.”
Diana (2023)
“Malaika's ability to hold a sacred space for retreat participants is unparalleled, and her love for Grenada is clear in all the carefully-selected activities she chose for us. I loved every minute and came away feeling calm, steady, and well-nourished.”
