Deepen your relationship to your breath. Whether your riding through your days with ease, or feeling a little (or a lot) overwhelmed, this is an invitation to take a moment for self-nourishment. For this MaterniTea session we will focus on breathing - the mechanics of our breath, how we can harness it to both energize and calm ourselves, and how our breath can help us move with greater ease during pregnancy and beyond.

Pregnant women and mamas at any stage of their journey are all welcome. Beginner-friendly yoga, breath work and meditation.

Malaika Maitland is a new mama, certified advanced teacher of therapeutic yoga (500hr), a pregnancy, labour & postpartum doula and co-founder of Spice Harmony Yoga. She has finished her Professional Yoga Therapist training and is now completing her clinical hours towards her final certification (1000hr). Malaika is a visual artist whose photography, film and mixed-media work has been exhibited locally and internationally.
